December 5, 7:30PM to 10:30PM: Stress Free Daze Winter Relaxation Night at the Ferg. Join us for an evening of relaxation with food, music, free massages, cookie decorating, present wrapping, games and other fun stuff!

February 6, 4PM to 7PM: Graduate Student Health Fair. The Counseling Center will provide information on positive emotional health at the Student Recreation Center. Co-sponsored with the Student Health Center, Graduate Student Association, Healthy Campus and the Student Recreation Center.

February: African-American Heritage Month

February 12, 6PM to 7:30PM: Lecture by Dr. Micki McElya on her book, Confronting the Manny Problem in the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Ferguson Center Forum, reception to follow. Co- sponsored by WRC, Women Involved in Learning and Leading, Department of American Studies and the Counseling Center.

February 11-15: Sexual Responsibility Week

February 11, 4PM to 5PM: Information table at the Unscripted performance "Consequences" in the Ferguson Theater. Co- sponsored By Healthy Relationships and Sexual Health Strategic Health Team: WRC- Unscripted, and Project Health Peer Educators

February 13, 11AM to 1PM: Information at the Project Health Kissing Booth 11-1 pm. Sponsored by Project Health.

February 25-29: National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, “Be Comfortable in your Genes”

February 25, 3:30 to 6:30PM: Recreation Center-get information and resources on eating disorders, free giveaways, and more about the week’s events. Step on the “Scale of Fortune”- a path to healthier body image           

February 25, 7:30PM: Tutwiler Hall discussion on healthy eating and body image. Information about eating disorders, activities for healthier body image, free giveaways,“Healthy Eating” tips

February 26, 3:30 to 6:30PM: Recreation Center- get information and resources on eating disorders and free giveaways. Activities for healthier body image including the “Wall of Praise”     

February 27, 11:00AM to 3:00PM: Ferguson Center- get information and resources on eating disorders and free giveaways, Healthy Eating Tips   

February 28, 11:00AM to 3:00PM: Ferguson Center– get information and resources on eating disorders and free giveaways. Step on the Scale of Fortune and the “Wall of Praise”- other steps toward healthier body image, Healthy Eating Tips.

****All week: View the supermodel vs. “real” women displays and feel free to share your thoughtful comments, participate in critical thinking of media messages, Great Jeans Giveaway-donate your jeans for a good cause-see receptacles in Ferguson Center,  Recreation Center, Tutwiler Hall, Burke Hall, and Rose Towers

April: Stress Management Awareness Month, "Stress Free Daze"

Sponsored by the Counseling Center, Health Education and Wellness Promotion, Student Recreation Center, Residence Hall Association, and Housing and Residential Communities:

April 16, 11:00AM to 1:00PM: Information table at the Ferg with stress tests and handouts.

April 23, 11:00AM to 3:00PM: Stress Free Daze, "Recess" on the Quad. Come enjoy free Pizza and BBQ, inflatable rides like Bouncy Boxing, Gladiator Joust, Mountain Climb, Giant Slide and Mechanical Bull. Also, have fun with art, planting flowers, bath salts, and kite flying. Free music provided by WVUA.

April 25, 9:00PM to 1:00AM: Bama After Dark Study Break at the Ferg.
