When A Friend Needs Help...
If someone you know has any of the concerns mentioned on these Counseling Center web pages, or other problems not listed here, it may be helpful to involve yourself, while taking care not to become over-involved. Simply express your concern to your friend and perhaps suggest they get help that is available at the Counseling Center. In most cases you need do no more than this. Know the difference between the problems friends can solve together and those they cannot. If you have questions or concerns about such a situation and aren't sure what to do, you may consult with a trained counselor by calling the Counseling Center yourself at 348-3863.
