Dr. Katie Busby

Dr. Katie Busby joined the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Alabama in Fall 2006,  Prior to coming to UA,  Dr. Busby served as Director of Assessment and Planning at IUPUI. She spent five years as a member of the mathematics faculty at Baylor University, Waco, Texas, and four years as a student affairs practitioner at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA. Her research interests include measures of student development and leadership, instrument development, and validity issues. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from University of Mississippi and earned her Ph.D. in Assessment and Measurement from James Madison University.

Jessica Simmons

Mrs. Jessica Simmons is currently enrolled in the Higher Education Administration Doctoral program. Prior to joining the Office of Student Affairs Assessment and Planning, Mrs. Simmons served as the Graduate Assistant for Parent and Family Programs and completed an internship in Student Affairs Assessment. She holds an M. A. degree in Higher Education Adminstration from The University of Alabama and a B. S. degree from University of Montevallo.
