Welcome to the Office of the Student Ombudsperson at the University of Alabama. 

Our purpose is to provide assistance in the resolution of problems concerning University administration, faculty and/or staff through informal negotiations.  We use a mature and professional manner to resolve the concerns of students while avoiding the red tape of formal appeals and grievance procedures.
