As we look toward the future and the needs of our students, the Division of Student Affairs will play an integral role in successful student learning while still individually impacting the mission on a regular basis. Thus, the Student Affairs strategic plan outlines student learning as a primary outcome. The success depends on the simultaneous assessment and planning of our programs and services. In addition, continuous strengthening of our partnerships with faculty, academic affairs, parents, alumni, community members and every student remains critical to the realization of our strategic plan as a Division. Staff members must model and demonstrate behavior and actions that intentionally influence our students.
The Student Affairs strategic plan sets forth four priorities that will serve as a roadmap to our work for the next several years. They are:
- Foster Global Citizenship and Cultural Understanding
- Develop Ethical Leaders
- Promote Civic Engagement
- Create a Culture of Evidence
